The workshop on exchanging culture and studying abroad in the Netherlands

To prodive students with information and impressions about The Netherlands, Ton Duc Thang University organized a Dutch workshop freely opened for all Ton Duc Thang University students on September 16th, 2014.

Olivier Ensink, a Dutch student doing an internship at the Ton Duc Thang University, hosted the workshop.  And the participation of Mr. Pham Dinh Bang, Chief Representative Officer of Nuffic Neso in Vietnam, assisted Olivier in providing the students with information about the study opportunities in the Netherlands. Nuffic Neso is a Dutch organization helping foreign students with their study plans in the Netherlands.

The workshop has attracted great attentions and interests from students. During the workshop students played some small games to get to know more about The Netherlands, its people, culture, food and much more. In the end the students played a game called; “Spijkerpoepen”, which is a typical Dutch game. During this game the students tried some typical Dutch cookies and candies. 

Besides that the students also had the opportunity to get answers on their questions concerning cultural differences, technical aspects and general information.
