On the 13th of April 2017, TDTU held Vietnam-Thailand-Laos Cultural Exchange Festival 2017, an event for TDTU Thai and Laotian students to celebrate their own New Year in Vietnam.
This is also an occasion for lecturers and students to gather and share their cultural experience, strengthen the countries' friendship and cooperation on many different fields.
Attracting more than 4500 people, the festival with such exciting activities as arts performing, martial arts, students' fair, traditional Thai-Lao New Year Celebration with customs like tying wrists threads, throwing flowers, bathing Buddha, ... marked an exciting and meaningful day at TDTU.
Also in the festival, TDTU Sports Science Faculty developed the partnership with Burapha University from Thailand. Accordingly, the two universities will impulse and develop joint academic programs, science researches, students and lecturers exchange, etc.
Vietnam-Thailand-Laos Cultural Exchange Festival 2017 is not only a place for TDTU students and lecturers to enjoy time together, but also to promote TDTU as a modern and globally friendly university to international friends.
